HOW DID MY CAREER IN AESTHETICS BEGIN?

My career in aesthetics began in 2008, when I saw a television show about women of all ages who were living with facial deformities. They were learning how to apply makeup in order to help them feel better about themselves. I had tears in my eyes as I watched their faces light up with excitement. I knew that I wanted to be a part of helping someone feel good and confident. A friend referred me to apply for a job at a dermatology office that was looking for an injector to provide Botox, filler and laser treatments. I applied for the job thinking I would never get hired since I had been a pediatric nurse for years. I ended up being the person that they chose! I was able to have excellent training and gain vast experience while I worked there.

WHAT MADE ME JOIN THE TEAM AT CSPS?

I joined the team at CSPS in 2015. I had worked in Dermatology offices for 7 years. I wanted to expand my knowledge and learn more about plastic surgery. I had heard such great things about Dr. Moore and the injectors on staff. I could tell that it was a very professional, caring environment. It was a very good fit for me. We have a terrific team at CSPS.

WHAT ARE MY HOBBIES APART FROM WORK?

When I am not working, I like to spend time with my husband and 3 boys, go boating, ride my Peloton bike, attend seminars/continuing education and listen to music.

MY PERSONAL FAVORITE TREATMENT.

My personal treatment to do is using dermal fillers for cheek and jawline/chin enhancement. My personal favorite treatment for myself is Botox and the Sciton Broadband Light (BBL) skin therapy treatment.
