Sculpting A Better Butt
Curves are popular and sexy, but not everyone has the natural curves they’d like. If you’d like to improve your appearance and sculpt a better butt, these tips can help.
Start With Exercise
Improving your muscle tone will give you a better foundation. Good muscle tone can help your skin look firmer and it can help the right curves stand out. The following exercises can help improve the muscles in your buttocks.
- Running Stairs: You don’t have to give up your cardio exercise time to target your glutes. Swap running on the treadmill for running on the stair stepper or swap the track for the bleachers to tone your glutes while getting your cardio exercise.
- Flutter Kicks: Lie facedown on a flat weight bench with your hips at the edge of the bench. Straighten your legs and then lift your left leg up while keeping your right leg still. Alternate back and forth between legs.
- Glute Kickbacks: Kneel on the floor and put your hands down on your exercise mat. Your arms should be extended and you should be bent at the waist. It may seem like a position that you’d use to start crawling. Keep the rest of your body in place while lifting your right leg until your hamstring is even with your back. Your upper leg should be parallel to the floor and your calf should be perpendicular to the floor. Then lower it and switch to the left leg. Repeat as desired.
Add Volume And Improve Shape
Exercise gives you a better foundation, but it isn’t always enough to give you the results you want. If your buttocks are flat, sagging, small, or asymmetrical, a Brazilian Butt Lift may be a good option.
This treatment uses liposuction to remove unwanted fat from other areas of the body. The fat is then prepared and small injections are used to place the fat in the buttocks to create the desired shape and volume. In some cases, implants may also be used to add more volume.
A butt lift can give you a curvier, more balanced figure and if you maintain your weight and fitness level, the results can be long-lasting. Schedule a consultation at Cool Springs Plastic Surgery to learn more.
